In Forest School, we recognise all children as individuals and have different needs.
Forest School takes a holistic approach of looking at the ‘whole child’ and every aspect of their development. It allows children the freedom of choice to direct their own learning experience at their own pace, whilst the adults/practitioners take a step back and observe, support and help to extend when they feel it is beneficial. 
We recognise Forest School is a process, a journey rather than an activity, and as the children return each week they will become familiar and comfortable in their surroundings. They will gain more confidence as they can independently choose activities and explore, discovering a little bit more every time. The experience is their own which they can nurture and cherish, we are there to support and enrich it.
